Niñas Sabias initiates girls into their wisdom and power through menstrual education and sustainable menstrual care.
The Girl's Guardians campaign is an effort to create a community of caring monthly sponsors.
Because periods come each month, and each month we can provide a girl with knowledge, health, and dignity, strengthening families and our society.
THE CAMPAIGN
The Guardian Community is comprised of sustaining donors who each contribute: $200 pesos or $500 pesos or $900 pesos
every month
The $200 MX pesos donors become Caretakers
The $500 MX pesos donors become Guardians
The $900 MX pesos donors become Angels
The Wise Girls ́ Caretakers, Guardians & Angels make up the Guardian Community that places girls at the center allowing them to be Healthy, Safe, and Wise.
The Reason
For 2023, we have so far secured funding for
40 Wise Girls Workshops

10-hour Menstrual Education Program

Sustainable Menstrual Kit
We have five certified Wise Girls Teachers in Lake Chapala, and five more certified Wise Girls Teachers in other areas of Jalisco.
Through a successful Guardian Campaign, we will insure that our 10 Teachers will impact girls both in our local schools, and in schools in rural and indigenous communities during 2024.
The Goal
To provide Wise Girls Workshops to 1,500 girls during 2024, impacting double the number of girls.
That means 1,500 more HEALTHY, SAFE, AND WISE GIRLS!

A single monthly Caretaker Donation provides ONE GIRL with 10 hours of education for body literacy, self- knowledge, and self-care through the Wise Girls Workshop.

Guardian
A monthly Guardian Donation, gifts a GIRL with a high-quality Niñas Sabias Kit that lasts for 3-4 years to manage her periods in a dignified and sustainable way
all her Wise Girls Workshop materials. (One set of printed evaluation surveys and educational handout material: 1 full-color affirmations poster, 2 full-color anatomy and menstrual cycle sheets).

Angel
Through a monthly Angel Donation, a GIRL receives 10 hours of education for body literacy, self-knowledge, and self-care

In other words, one single Angel Donation allows a girl to become a “Wise Girl” and helps us monitor, evaluate and follow up on the impact this program will have on her life.
($900 mx pesos is approximately $50 USD)
